Ao Nang beach, Krabbi, Thailand

Weather: high of about 90ºF, low of about 80ºF and humid.

It was a bit of a toss up whether we would go to Phuket or to Krabbi.  Both are nice beach towns, but we decided to go to Krabbi since Phuket looked a little like Las Vegas in the brochures.  Our flight to Krabbi was rerouted to Phuket because of heavy rain, but we only were in Phuket for an hour or so before we went back to Krabbi.
One of the first things we do is to get a ride in a longtail boat.  Our guide drops us off at this cave.
This is the boat pilot guiding us through the mangrove forest.
We get a wild hair to go kayaking.  At the kayak outfitters I saw this spider which is as big as my hand.
Here's our first stop on the kayak trip.
We stopped for lunch of fruit here.  We were hoping for monkeys to show up, but we didn't get any.
The next day, we relaxed a bit and then catch another longtail boat out to this island.
Our boat trip also stopped in Railay National Park, where we saw this fabulous cave on the beach.  There were quite a few rock climbers out and about.
